Changes in Mathematics Teaching Project

This three-year project, funded by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, followed a cohort of previously low attaining students through key stage 3 in schools where departments and their teachers are changing the way they teach such students by focussing on new learning habits and mathematical thinking.

The project was non-interventionist and chronicles the changes in the teachers and their students. Research findings can be found at www.cmtp.co.uk
