Statistics Advisory Service

Diagram of the causes of mortality in the army in the East by Florence NightingaleThe Department of Mathematics and Statistics provides a statistical advisory service for all OU researchers – both PhD/MPhil students and staff. Our aim is to advise on the quantitative aspects of research problems in a wide variety of fields. The Statistical Advisory Service has two components, for postgraduate research students there are 'drop-in' sessions and appointments, for research staff the service is operated by appointment only.

Postgraduate Students Drop-in Sessions (Alan Turing Building)

Thursday: 10.30 – 12:20 in room 204 AT with Paul Garthwaite - Please note these sessions have temporarily been cancelled.
